You aren’t meant to carry life's burdens alone. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, deeply hurt by someone you love, exhausted by ongoing conflict, or simply unsure why life feels so heavy right now. Perhaps you've tried talking with family or friends, but you don't want to burden them—or worse, you expect to feel ignored, misunderstood, or lectured. You long for someone who truly understands, listens without judgment, and helps you make sense of what you're experiencing. Whether you're seeking healing as an individual or hoping to strengthen your marriage, family, or another important connection, my goal is to help you find hope, clarity, and practical steps toward lasting growth.

I specialize in using a Christian approach to counseling, helping individuals and couples build healthier connections—with themselves, their spouse or partner, their family, and, for those who desire it, with God. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both compassion and honesty. I am especially passionate about marriage and couples counseling and have completed Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2, along with Relational Life Therapy Level 1 training. My work is also informed by attachment, trauma, and relationship research from leaders including Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Sue Johnson, Terry Real, Gabor Maté, and Jim Fay. Whether you're navigating marital conflict, parenting challenges, difficult family dynamics, or the effects of a narcissistic relationship, we'll build on your strengths while developing healthier patterns that promote lasting change.

I became a therapist because I genuinely love helping people uncover the root causes of their struggles and experience meaningful, lasting change. As a wife, mother, and lifelong learner, I believe that growth is possible for everyone. My personal philosophy is beautifully captured in Ephesians 4:15a: "Speaking the truth in love."

You don't have to figure this out alone. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you take the next step toward hope and healing.

The Gottman Couples Assessment Process

All new couples begin with the comprehensive Gottman assessment process before moving into ongoing couples therapy.

  1. Session 1: Comprehensive Gottman Couples Assessment, including the Gottman Relationship Checkup (80 minutes)

  2. Session 2: Individual session with Partner A (50 minutes)

  3. Session 3: Individual session with Partner B (50 minutes)

  4. Session 4: Couples feedback session and treatment planning (80 minutes)

  5. Ongoing couples therapy: Most couples continue with 80-minute sessions, allowing time to slow down, explore underlying patterns, practice new skills, and work through challenges without feeling rushed. For some couples, 50-minute sessions may be clinically appropriate.
